The sun and the heat marked the Benelux Open Races qualifying, the third round of the European VW Fun Cup taking place this weekend on the Zandvoort circuit. Once, it was not customary, there were no games scheduled after the practice to determine the starting grid for the first race and this two-hour session was therefore of particular importance for the 37 crews engaged in the Dutch dunes.
This Sunday at 10:00, so the # 280 Socardenne by Milo will take the peloton thanks to the chrono signed by Lorenzo Donniacuo at the beginning of the session. With the two Kevin (Balthazar and Caprasse), the Montois is certainly part of the favorites! But the threat should include the # 2 DRM Motorsport Autograph of Guillaume Mondron, Edouard Mondron, Richard Amaury and Cédric Bollen, the latter having won a place in the front row just before the checkered flag. New good performance of # 269 Scott - Pharmarome (Jean-Jacques and Gilles Smits, Johan Huygens and Pieter Verlinde) and # 44 Jac Motors 1 (Mathieu Detry, Laurent Jaspers and Michaël Leenders) who are in the top 5 leaders Stéphane Perrin, Martin Leburton and Simon Tourneur, driving the # 888 AC Motorsport.

No less than seven crews are grouped in less than a second on this timed tour exercise with the # 285 8Ks Warner Experience (Claudio Cappelli-Sean McInerney) and the # 255 DZ Racing by Acome (Jean-Luc Vandormael-Amine Zeghouani) . On the second car of the Italian team 8Ks Warner Experience (# 406), Federico Sordini and Andrea Portatadino took the 8th place in front of # 500 PYRAT by Milo (Pierre-Yves Rosoux, Arnaud Tsamere, Pierre-Andre Guillaume and Steve Dams), who signed his first appearance in the Top 10, and # 65 Leader Racing Gilles Debrus and Sébastien Kluyskens.
At the end of a session interrupted following a slight outing of # 278 Acome Racing, fortunately without damage, Stéphane Lémeret again signed a clear pole position in the category of Twinplanes driving # 365 Carpass LRE by DRT which he shares with Gautier Engisch and Philippe Wintgens. Behind, the # 361 Credeco by Leader (Nygel Verhaeren and Edouard de Braekeleer), the # 372 Debersaques Racing Team (Charly De Munter, Maxime and Yves Debersaques), the # 378 Nitro 44 by Acome Racing (Xavier Mezquita, Reiner Weisshaupt, Tim Toledo Sommerlath and Michaël Hansen) and # 342 Monster by Milo (Francis Plunus and Eric Jardon) completed the Top 5.
